Last week, in a meeting, Vietnam Deputy PM ordered to boost the distribution and consumption of Bio-fuel E5 (Gasoline Ron92 with 5% Ethanol) to meet the due date of 30 November 2015.
Statistic showed the consumption of Biofuel is modest and far below expectation after the first half of this year. The biofuel E5 only account for about 03% of petrol retail sales.
He is then pushing the wholesalers to strictly follow up the country roadmap for Biofuel E5. By 30th November 2015, the network of stores selling Biofuel E5 must be 50% at least of the number of stores across the country’s eight major cities.
He encouraged local governments and oil companies to raise consumer awareness about the fuel and its benefits while insisting that they follow closely the rollout plan established in December.
